METO CHAIR

prior to using geo nodes my exploration of blender generative design options had been aimless and unfocused until I modified a proximity whole script to make a barnacle generator. This looks cool but felt a bit messy and would not be comfortable to sit on so I refind it and changed the bass mesh that was being modified. this led to the leftmost design

by using geo nodes I could make minor changes in the parameters to iterate very fast
this shape I felt suggested an Avantgard comfy chair of sorts which had a flexible sheat of fabric that the user could lay in. As this was going to be SLS 3d printed the shape could be very extreme

to lessen the cost of the chair I put the basic hole node onto the baked mesh to reduce the amount of material
I also played with the form and position of the legs as it almost read as a crab when the legs were put in a squat position.
